About Our Retreats

Hello Fellow Scrappers!

I am Lora Mercado the owner and host of Scrapaholic Retreats, and I am so glad you stopped by! Scrapaholic Retreats was built on the LOVE of Scrapbooking, and caters to the needs of our guests. Please take a few minutes to look around the site and see all of the exciting activities that are included in a Weekend Retreat.

All of our retreats are held in high quality hotels, while also keeping affordability in mind. We will be set up in a meeting room that will comfortably accomodate the size of the group. You are not required to stay overnight at the hotel, if you prefer to commute, as the cost of the hotel room is not included in the price of the retreat.

We always welcome groups, but if you prefer to attend by yourself, that is great too! Everyone deserves a little "ME" time! We are all there for the same reason, so let's just laugh, scrap and have FUN!

Each scrapbooker has their own 3-6 foot table space (depending on number of guests) to spread out their scrappin' stuff for the ENTIRE weekend! No need to clean up at the end of a long day of scrappin'. The room will be locked up after the last scrapper is done, so there is no need to worry. Feel free to bring in your own small side table if desired if you would like a little more room.

Many of our retreats are in hotels or resorts that offer Spa Services, so you can get that WELL DESERVED massage you have been needing! Of course, the spa services are not included in the cost of the retreat, but the information to schedule your massage or treatment will always be provided for you. We want you to RELAX and make the most from your SPECIAL TIME AWAY! You are welcome to stay in your "Jammies" and Slippers the entire weekend if you feel like it!

Each guest of our 3 day retreats will receive a "Scrapaholic" T-shirt with a cute Scrapbooking saying on it. Just be sure to specify your T-shirt size when you Register!

Each guest will also receive a "Goodie Bag" of scrapbooking surprises! Included in the bags, but not limited to: Designer Paper, Embellishments,Stickers & MORE! Every Goodie Bag is different!

There are usually 5 meals provided: Dinner on Fri and Sat, Breakfast on Sat and Sun,
and Lunch on Sat.

** STARTING at the April 2010 Retreat, we will have a Snack/Drink table set up. You are also welcome to bring in whatever favorite drinks/snacks you want to munch on as well.

Scrapbooking vendors and consultants are always invited to take part in our retreats. If you are interested in becoming a vendor at one of our retreats, please email me for more information.

All of our retreats include contests, raffles and Make and Takes. We will also have a few classes to choose from for an additional charge if you like.
